Also, for those who have asked me why I didn't just stand on a chair to reach the cereal, it's because we do not have any chairs in our apartment. It didn't even dawn on me until I was talking to my friend Leticia yesterday. I know it sounds strange, but it's the truth. We are not anti-chairs, but we decided to live sans a table and chairs for a while, given that we never used them in our old apartment. The chairs saw my suit jackets and sweaters much more often than my buttocks.
