Ottawa

We just drove +19 hours in less than 72 hours. As if our trip to Mexico was not "exciting" enough, we ventured to Canada only 4 days after returning stateside. 

• Purpose of our trip? To buy some maple syrup cream cookies visit Matt's grandma, aunt, uncle and cousins. His parents and brother met up with us there. We had a really nice time! 
• Why didn't we fly? Flights from DC to YOW are on average $600, despite it only being a 1.5 hr flight. Ridiculous.
• Did we eat poutine ("french fries with cheese curds, covered in gravy")? No. 
• Did we see Alanis Morissette? Unfortunately no; however she is an Ottawan. 
• Did Matt do all the driving? Not quite...I drove 4 hours (with very sweaty palms, after our recent accident). 
• Is Matt currently upset about the Patriots game score? Yes, indeed. Time for me to say BONNE NUIT!
